Upland hunters place the same demands on their clothing that they do on their shotguns – that's why Browning has taken clothing technology as seriously as they take their firearms technology. Upland gear features the soft, comfortable, easy-draping feel of cotton with many additional features previously only found in man-made fabrics. These products are constructed of Epic fabric by Nextec. Epic uses a patented process that actually encapsulates individual fabric fibers in an ultra-thin polymer film. Unlike other processes that are mere coatings or laminations, this film is within the fabric, making it water-resistant, yet breathable and pliable. This also makes the Epic barrier more durable – it stays with the fabric wash after wash. What this means to the hunter is garments that are water-resistant, breathable, fast drying, windproof, abrasion-resistant, soft and supple.
